Planning Applications - Strategic Housing Site - Bilsham Road / Drove Lane
The Outline Planning Applicatiions covering the Strategic Housing Site off Bilsham Road and Drove Lane has been published by Arun District Council for consultation.
The two applications for the 550 dwellings on the Strategic Site at Bilsham Road / Drove Lane were considered by the Parish Council's Planning Committee at its meeting on Monday 15th January 2018 at the Village Hall, and the Committee reluctantly agreed not to object but support the applications conditional upon the applicants including, amongst other important infrastructure improvements, provision for expanding the primary school, improved medical facilities in the village, drainage improvements, sustainable transport / cycle routes, new and upgraded facilities for young people and an appropriate mix of affordable / social housing.

Outline application for the development of up to 250 residential dwellings (Class C3), vehicular access, public open space, ancillary works and associated infrastructure. Departure from the Development Plan
Land at Bilsham Road
Yapton Applicant: Gleeson Strategic Land Case Officer: Mr D. Easton
Outline application with all matters reserved save access, for up to 300 dwellings, link road, surface drainage, open space and landscaping. Departure from the Development Plan and Access route is within the Yapton (Main Road) Conservation Area.
